Experience locally crafted brews and selected artworks from the Winthrop Gallery this month at the Twisp River Pub. You'll enjoy the relaxed family friendly atmosphere with seating available overlooking the Twisp River.

Live music featured every weekend. The Pub is open daily for lunch and dinner.

Fill a glass, procure a snack from the reception table and join me on Saturday night August 1 at the Winthrop Gallery. I, along with fellow co-op artists - phenom photographer Pearl Cherrington, wood working goddess Laura Karcher and impressionist oil painter supreme Mary Powell will be displaying new works.

We've kept these treasures hidden for just this show. My 6 paintings were done on site at the Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland.

Come sip 50 wines and talk with the 25 Washington wine makers about their craft. Soft jazz featuring Lynette Westendorf will fill your ears while you sample tasty hors d-oeuvres especially prepared to accompany the wine.
Lost River Winery, Sun Mountain Lodge and Arrowleaf Bistro have special events planned for your weekend.

The Confluence Gallery's exhibit featuring contemporary new artwork displayed next to the Shafer Historical Museum archive photo that each regional artist used as their inspiration.
Confluence is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Rocking Horse Bakery is Winthrop's newest and most delicious gathering spot. Along with fresh baked goods and eye opening coffee, they also host monthly art exhibits. I encourage you to take some time to visit their shop, savor a treat and take in the display. (Their blueberry coffeecake is one I can't pass up!)
March's exhibit features a collection of my watercolors depicting favorite local and regional landscapes.
The Rocking Horse is open from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

After a great day of skiing, skating or sledding, join the Gallery artists as we celebrate winter with a new show.
Our curator, Michael Caldwell will be installing fresh work from all the artist members. Light refreshments and beverages offered to fuel your viewing! See you there.

Celebrating a spring landscape, the collection features some of what this artist appreciates after a long winter - lots of color.  Drop by the new branch of the North Cascades National Bank in Twisp, located on Hwy 20, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

 A selected group of Methow artists have been invited to show at ISIS.
Visitors to ISIS will be treated to fine creations crafted in glass, wood and pottery evoking the spirit of the Methow Valley. Included in the show
is a wonderful sampling of painters (including yours truly) who bring their visions to life in watercolors, acrylic, pastels and oils.

This is the Confluence Gallery in Twisp annual fund raising event. From Benson Creek to Winthrop, local artist studios are open for touring 10am to 4pm (including mine).
Visit the creative lairs of the Methow Valley artists, talk with them, enjoy fine art and refreshments. You may even discover a wonderful piece of art tucked away in the studio corner to purchase for your home!
